Support in daily chores such as cleaning, meal planning, care for dependents, banking, and other tasks, in addition to providing assistive products.
Assistance with Travel and Transport
Support in private transportation or costs of taxis for participants who are not able to travel independently.
Communication Assistance
Support in enabling communication which includes products to assist with alternate communication or to access written or spoken communication via electronic or other means of assistive technology.
NDIS stands for National Disability Insurance Scheme which is a new way of providing services for Australians with disability, their families and carers. NDIS will help people with disability to achieve their goals by increasing their independence, community involvement, employment and improved wellbeing.
In line with the Australian Government’s advice, Access to Care offices will be closed to the public and face to face meetings will not be conducted from Tuesday 24 March until further notice. Staff are contactable via phone and email and operations continue as normal off site.
