Youth Social Support Group

is for 13-17 year olds and offers a range of centre and community based recreational activities for young people with disability. The program will assist the participants in developing their social skills, make new friends and enhance their confidence in participating in the community. It runs Monday to Friday 4:30pm -6: 30pm at our Bankstown site. It is mainly aimed for participants with a mild to moderate disability with minimal behavioural support and/or personal care needs.

These groups offer arrange of centre and community based social and recreational activities. One on One Social Support: (All Ages)

This One on One Social Support is provided to a participant as in Home support or community based. We will work with you to design and develop an individualised and tailor made programs for your child or a family member. Access to Care ensures the One on One Social support provided is Culture and Language specific and is flexible for supports such as : • Learning a new skill • Home-work help • Attending movies, bowling, visiting a park or other activities • Sporting and community events • Attending appointments or services Talk to us and we will work with you in identifying and developing creative and innovative ways of increasing social and community participation for you and your family member.
